About 4 years ago you bought a new washer and dryer. The new machines were delivered and set up. For the past 4 years everything has been working fine. Stainless steel braided hoses are more durable and longer lasting than rubber hoses. Stainless hoses will be a little more costly than rubber, but the piece of mind will be well worth the investment.

Emergency shutoff kits can be a good choice. These systems are designed to detect leaks and shut the water off before the leak becomes a flood. Just like the stainless hoses, a few extra dollars is well worth the piece of mind.
